Alister takes on Irish Mk11 Escorts
Apr 18, 2006
The Black Mk11 Ford Escort which Alister built last year will be in action on the forthcoming Carlow Car Club Mk11 Challenge on Sunday 7th May.
The last competitive outing for this car was the 2005 Scottish National Rally when Alister finished 6th overall beating his elder brother Colin and father Jimmy.

Alister is now looking forward to challenging Ireland’s leading Mk11 Escort drivers over the 72 miles of stages in the Carlow district.
Gordon Noble from Omagh who co-drove Alister to victory on China’s recent Shanghai Rally will be in the passenger seat.
Alister built this Escort to the basic Mk11 design but with different engine, gearbox and proflex suspension.
